The UC Neuroscience Institute at University Hospital is known for the compassionate service it provides to patients and their families and caregivers. The Neurotrauma Center, one of seven centers within the UC Neuroscience Institute, mirrors the Institute’s philosophy of caring for the entire family and ensuring that all needs are met and all questions are answered. Ohio Regional TBI Model System

Funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), the TBI Model System seeks to improve the quality of life of people who experience TBI by creating and disseminating new knowledge about the course, treatment and outcomes of this condition. At the heart of the program is a long-term, longitudinal study of patients who receive rehabilitation for TBI. The Ohio Regional TBI Model System is located in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
